Hi guys, I'm here today because I would similar to know the all-time manner to connect and utilise the ps3 controller.
I used SCP toolkit but it's annoying with all these notifications and and then when I disconnect the controller, another games have messed upward controls. Every Time!!

Probably? I'k not near my domicile PC right now then can't check, but if you tin can, it should be correct there in its options. Click the icon in your taskbar and see.

Some other selection is to manually disable its service through Windows startup options, only that is a bit of a hack that volition probably destroy SCPtoolkit functionality.

The game doesn't take to be on steam ,information technology should still work, it does also work via Bluetooth on a PS4 pad, don't know most PS3.

Yeah... I don't have a bluetooth adapter either and information technology works fine for me. SCPToolkit user here on my HTPC, works perfectly and I apply DS3 with a cable. I gauge I could employ bluetooth too since that PC has too an adapter, only I guess it would just start my PS3 every fourth dimension the controller is powered on without a cable.

I'm using SCPToolkit likewise, as it supports for PCSX2 pressure sensitivity to play some PS2 games. I removed the bombardment and use only cables.

- tried steam to detect the controller. It doesn't work and it does not detect information technology (peradventure on bluetooth but I don't take the dongle)

- SCP albeit junk af works fine.

A question I disabled the automatic startup of SCP but when I'm doing my stuff on windows (non gaming with the controller) information technology starts up to update.
Can I disable it or just leave information technology as it is?

If it's a generic usb controller, it should work without any additional software/drivers, if it's a clone of a PS3 controller, it needs something which is already mentioned in this thread.
